Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth
– John 17:17
Worship & Communion
We gather every Lord’s Day morning to worship and remember the Lord Jesus and to be strengthened and equipped by His Word.
When: 10:30 - 11:45 AM
Where: 5518 W. Gettysburg Street, Chicago, IL 60630
What to Expect: We take communion each time we gather on Sunday, and our time of communion, worship, and praise is from 10:30 – 11:15 AM. It is open for anyone to participate by lifting up a prayer or praise, or sharing a song, hymn, or Bible verse. Afterwards, we get into the Word until 11:45 AM. We are currently going through the gospel of John.
Theodore Roosevelt once said “A thorough knowledge of the Bible is worth more than a college education.” D.L. Moody said "“I never saw a useful Christian who was not a student of the Bible.”
We believe that the Bible is the inspired and revealed Word of God, and is the heartbeat for Christian life and living. When read with an open heart and in the right spirit, the riches in the Bible come alive and teach, inspire, and train us how to live in light of the will of God on the earth today.
Join us as we study the Word, and learn and grow together in community!
1-on-1 Meet-ups & Discipleship
Meeting up 1-on-1 is a great way to explore more if you’re new to the faith, and if you want to learn more about who Jesus is or what it means to be Christian. It is also a great way to go deeper in knowing the Bible by diving into specific topics. Through 1-on-1's, mentorship, and discipleship, we can grow together in the Christian life. Wherever you are at, we would like to journey with you!
